As a senior internal communications manager, you will be responsible for developing, planning and implementing a communications plan and strategy that has a direct impact on employee engagement/education in a way that reinforces and promotes HNTB's brand and company culture. This includes planning, overseeing and developing content for the company's intranet, other specialized programs targeted to employee audiences and collaborating with and counseling leaders on effective communications strategies. This role requires a creative and innovative thinker who can develop the communications approach and content using a variety of communications tools and platforms tailored to appropriate audiences and situations. The senior internal communications manager will collaborate and coordinate with various groups, teams and leaders across the firm to plan and develop effective communication to achieve desired outcomes.

What You'll Do:

• Strategic Planning: Leads development and execution of internal communications strategies that support HNTB's core mission, vision and objectives.
• Content Creation: Develops engaging and informative content that is consistent with brand messaging for a variety of communications channels including internal, social and web platforms.
• Analytics: Establishes metrics to regularly assess engagement levels and reach to refine strategies and demonstrate the value of internal communications.
• Internal Communications: Oversees and manages content for HNTB's internal communication platforms.
• Market Research: Keeps current on trends and proactively offer guidance on best practices in internal communication approaches.
• Event Management: Drives execution of employee engagement initiatives.
• Communications Adviser: Serves as a communications counselor to offer guidance on best practices.
• Meeting Management: Provides board of director and other internal meeting support.
• Collaboration: Collaborates with freelance writers, videographers, designers, photographers.
• Budget Management: Manages internal communications budget.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need:

• Bachelor's degree in communications, Journalism or related fields and 10 years corporate communications or agency experience, or
• In lieu of degree, 14 years of related experience

• Adobe Creative Suite and SharePoint expertise
