Job Description

At Snowflake, we are powering the era of the agentic enterprise. To usher in this new era, we seek AI-native thinkers across every function who are energized by the opportunity to reinvent how they work. You don't just use tools; you possess an innate curiosity, treating AI as a high-trust collaborator that is core to how you solve problems and accelerate your impact. We look for low-ego individuals who thrive in dynamic and fast-moving environments and move with an experimental mindset - who rapidly test emerging capabilities to discover simpler, more powerful ways to deliver results. At Snowflake, your role isn't just to execute a function, but to help redefine the future of how work gets done.

We are seeking a Senior Manager, International Tax, to join our team. This position will report to the Director, International Tax, and will interact with other key members of Snowflake's finance organization and statutory accounting team. The position will support all aspects of U.S. and foreign income tax compliance and reporting for Snowflake's international entities. This is a hybrid role based in Menlo Park, CA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the international components of quarterly and annual income tax provision under ASC 740, ensuring SOX controls and accuracy.

  • Prepare and review international tax calculations including GILTI/NCTI, BEAT, FDDEI, FTC, Subpart F, and DCL.

  • Lead the preparation and review of U.S. international tax Forms 5471, 8858, 1118, 8992/8993, 1042, and all related disclosures.

  • Oversee the global filing calendar and coordinate with external advisors across LATAM, EMEA, and APAC to ensure timely local filings.

  • Maintain and enhance tax models and processes for provision, forecasting, and compliance.

  • Review statutory financials and local tax provisions for accuracy and alignment with U.S. reporting.

  • Manage global transfer pricing documentation and compliance, including CbC reporting, notifications, and the review of intercompany calculations.

  • Oversee ongoing OECD Pillar Two (Global Minimum Tax) processes, including analysis, documentation, compliance, and financial statement impacts.

  • Prepare documentation and technical analysis for tax audits and inquiries.

  • Manage withholding tax matters relating to international transactions.

  • Partner with Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, and Legal to streamline cross-functional workflows.

  • Research international tax issues and support various ad hoc tax projects.

  • Identify opportunities to automate and scale tax processes.

  • Train, mentor, and develop junior staff.

Education and Experience:

  • BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA and/or Master of Taxation is preferred.

  • 10+ years of international tax experience in public accounting and/or a multinational corporate environment.

  • Strong knowledge of domestic and international tax laws and hands-on ASC 740 international tax provision experience.

  • OECD Pillar Two (Global Minimum Tax) and transfer pricing experience is highly desirable.

  • Proactive and motivated professional with high attention to detail and a proven ability to manage large datasets and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Collaborative team player who can work effectively across different departments and global regions.

  • Passionate about using automation and AI to transform manual processes and streamline tax compliance.

  • Experience with Workday ERP is a plus.

Snowflake is growing fast, and we're scaling our team to help enable and accelerate our growth. We are looking for people who share our values, challenge ordinary thinking, and push the pace of innovation while building a future for themselves and Snowflake.
