Job Title: Senior Business System Analyst - SAP S/4HANA Transformation

Location: Stillwater, MN

Work Model: Hybrid

Job Scope

The Senior IT Business Analyst partners with business functions to ensure alignment of the IT department with the business strategies of assigned function. Partners with various functions in the organization by collaborating to define the best solutions aligning technology context and business strategies, overseeing and optimizing IT operations within our industrial environment to enhance manufacturing processes and ensure compliance with industry regulations. Applies proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate and resolve systems issues in order to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Partner with functional stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Drive SW Benchmark and Design Phases, ensuring consistency with the technological scenario and IT strategies.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve IT operations, including system upgrades and process improvements.
  • Provide accountability for the industrial and manufacturing applications throughout their entire life cycle.
  • Participate in and lead the definition and execution of strategic application roadmap.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and staff, ensuring smooth and efficient IT operations.
  • Document IT processes, operations, and configuration details for user training and disaster recovery purposes.
  • Coordinate with vendors for the procurement of new technologies and manage vendor relationships.
  • Ensure all IT operations comply with GxP (Good Practice) regulations and industry standards.
  • Prepare and present reports on system performance and IT operations to management.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to establish best practices within IT applications team.
  • Leverage continuous improvement mindset to identify process and technical improvements.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure IT systems support overall business objectives.
  • Stay updated with the latest IT trends and technologies to recommend and implement innovative solutions.

Education, Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT operations, with a focus on industrial environments, preferably in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry.
  • Relevant certifications such as ITIL, CISSP or PMP are preferred.
  • Experience with IOT, industrial control systems (ICS) and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems.
  • Experience with MES (Manufacturing Execution System) or LIMS (Lab Information Management System).
  • Solid understanding of system integration and IT infrastructure management (servers, networks, virtualization, cloud platforms, web services, middleware, data transformation) for ensuring effective collaboration across multiple IT domains (e.g. Infrastructure, Applications, Security and Manufacturing Engineering).
  • Understanding of GxP regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Knowledge of MS Excel spreadsheet development, macro expertise desired.
  • Experience in data analytics and automation scripting tools (Python, Power Automate) is preferred.

The hiring range for this position is $120,000 - $145,000 annually. The salary range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, educations, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. Beyond base salary, Diasorin offers a competitive rewards package focused on your overall well-being.
