Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software systems to ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to network, servers, and end-user devices.
Conduct regular system inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with other IT professionals to implement new technologies and upgrades.
Provide technical support and training to staff on various hardware and software applications.
Document procedures, configurations, and updates to maintain accurate technical records.
Manage inventory of technology assets and recommend procurement of new equipment as needed.
Monitor system performance and security, applying patches and updates promptly.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years experience in a technology support or technician role.
Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking concepts.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing desktops, laptops, and servers.
Experience with network configurations, firewalls, and security protocols.
Ability to manage multiple technical projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical personnel.
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional are a plus.
