Senior Litigation Attorney (Warranty & Lemon Law)
Full-Time | Hybrid | San Diego, CA
Salary: $200,000-$315,000
About the Opportunity
An established Am Law 100 law firm is seeking an experienced litigation attorney to join its growing Warranty & Lemon Law practice in San Diego.
This role is ideal for an attorney with significant civil litigation experience who enjoys managing cases independently and is looking for a long-term opportunity within a collaborative national firm. Attorneys with backgrounds in insurance defense, product liability, or other high-volume litigation practices are encouraged to apply.
What You'll Do
- Manage a large docket of consumer warranty litigation matters from inception through resolution
- Develop case strategy and independently draft and argue dispositive motions
- Handle all phases of written discovery and depositions
- Appear in state and federal court for hearings and other proceedings
- Lead settlement negotiations and mediations
- Collaborate with clients and internal leadership to achieve favorable outcomes
- Manage a high-volume caseload efficiently while maintaining exceptional legal work product
Qualifications
- 8+ years of post-JD civil litigation experience
- Experience independently managing litigation matters from start to finish
- Strong motion practice and discovery experience
- First-chair deposition experience
- Experience in insurance defense, product liability, warranty, lemon law, or other civil litigation
- Active California Bar license in good standing
- Comfortable managing a high-volume litigation practice
- Interest in building a long-term career within one firm
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $200,000-$315,000
