for learning and growth teaching supporting and modeling Logistics and company policies andprocedures and participating in the hiring promotion coaching teaching and evaluation of associates leaders and managersDrives the business plan for area of responsibility to achieve facility goals for example production quality safety by implementing operationalimprovements monitoring and tracking expenses and capital expenditures compared to budget monitoring asset utilization and developingdistributing andor maintaining procedures and supporting documentationBuilds and leads a team to execute on business area objectives Coaches team members and provides feedback to enhance skills knowledge andwork performance Conducts performance and career development conversations Mentors Maintenance Area Managers and Maintenance Operations ManagersEnsures maintenance department daily operations are performed properly by monitoring and driving department performance related to maintainingwarehouse equipment for example material handling equipment pneumatic systems electrical systems air compressors general building repairsand monitoring and ensuring associate compliance with state and federal regulations for example OSHA Hazardous Waste NFPA Storm WaterDOT etc relating to maintenance operationsDevelops technical expertise in multiple complex equipment systems and technologies Evaluates and implements equipment performancemonitoring improvements for all automated sortation systems within a large Distribution Center Coordinates with senior leaders and Engineering toprovide input into the design ensures successful implementation of modified and new equipment within the Distribution center Leads MaintenanceTechnicians and Maintenance Area Managers trainings as required Reviews maintenance budget estimates ensuring efficient usage of fundsthrough eliminating poorrepetitive purchasesCollaborates with Maintenance Area Managers and Maintenance Operations Managers to ensure optimization of capacity and service deliveryCoordinates incident response and resolution within the Distribution center Supports and collaborates with other functions at Walmart such asHuman Resources and Inventory ControlQuality Assurance ICQA to achieve objectivesDrives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs developing and communicating businessplans and priorities removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance providing resources identifying performance standards measuringprogress and adjusting performance accordingly developing contingency plans and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learningCoordinates completes and oversees jobrelated activities and assignments by developing and
