Job Description

Aeroflow Health – Senior Manager, Compliance & Privacy

Aeroflow is recruiting for a Senior Manager of Compliance and Privacy who will report to the Associate General Counsel.  This role is responsible for leading and strengthening Aeroflow’s enterprise-wide compliance and privacy program. This role drives a proactive culture of compliance, develops, and implements compliance and privacy policies and training, oversees investigations of potential compliance issues, and ensures effective remediation and continuous improvement.

Your Primary Responsibilities

Enterprise Compliance Program Leadership

  • Lead and enhance Aeroflow’s enterprise-wide compliance and privacy program in alignment with federal and state regulations (including healthcare, reimbursement, and privacy requirements)
  • Drive a proactive, values-based culture of compliance across the organization
  • Develop and implement compliance and privacy policies, procedures, and standards
  • Monitor regulatory changes and assess impact to operations and internal controls

Investigations & Regulatory Risk Management

  • Lead and oversee investigations related to compliance concerns, including fraud, waste, and abuse (FWA)
  • Manage internal reporting mechanisms and ensure appropriate escalation of issues
  • Partner closely with Legal on regulatory matters, enforcement actions, and risk management
  • Conduct root cause analysis and ensure appropriate documentation and resolution

Remediation & Continuous Improvement

  • Develop and oversee corrective action plans and ensure effective remediation
  • Use audit findings, investigations, and risk assessments to strengthen the compliance program
  • Monitor remediation efforts to ensure issues are resolved and controls are strengthened

Training, Communication & Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Design and deliver compliance and privacy training programs across the organization
  • Track training effectiveness and drive continuous improvement
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, IT, Security, and other stakeholders on compliance and privacy initiatives

Additional Expectations:

  • Compliance is a condition of employment and is considered an element of job performance
  • Maintain HIPAA/patient confidentiality
  • Regular and reliable attendance as assigned by your schedule
  • Other job duties assigned

This role is focused on enterprise healthcare compliance and regulatory risk management.

Candidates whose experience is primarily centered on clinical compliance, such as documentation standards, accreditation (e.g., CARF, Joint Commission), or clinical operations oversight, will not be considered for this position.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in healthcare compliance, privacy, or regulatory functions
  • Demonstrated experience supporting or leading enterprise-level compliance programs, including:
    • Fraud, Waste, and Abuse (FWA)
    • Regulatory investigations and enforcement
    • Government program compliance (e.g., Medicare/Medicaid)
  • Strong working knowledge of HIPAA and state privacy regulations
  • Experience leading investigations, root cause analysis, and remediation efforts
  • Experience in a management role with the ability to lead and develop others
  • Relevant compliance and/or privacy certifications preferred
