Primary Skills: Finance Transformation & Program Management (Expert), Large-Scale System Implementations (Expert), CFO / Finance Process Transformation (Expert), Cross-Functional Stakeholder Management (Expert), RAID / Change Management & Executive Reporting (Advanced)Contract Type: W2 OnlyDuration: 3+ Months – Possible ExtensionLocation: Santa Clara, CAPay Range: $140 - $150 on W2Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Program Management to drive complex finance transformation initiatives across the CFO organization. The ideal candidate will bring a strong combination of finance, accounting, operations, consulting, and PMO experience, with a proven ability to lead large-scale system implementations and transformation programs. This role will partner closely with Finance, Accounting, Tax, Operations, RevOps, Controllership, IT, and other senior stakeholders to develop strategies, improve processes, execute initiatives, and drive measurable business outcomes.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead complex finance transformation and system implementation programs from strategy and planning through execution, ensuring alignment with CFO organization priorities.
- Assess current-state processes and design future-state business processes using first-principles thinking to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop long-term roadmaps, detailed project plans, success criteria, KPIs, change management strategies, communication plans, and post-implementation reviews.
- Mobilize and lead cross-functional project teams, gather and challenge inputs, solve complex business problems, manage dependencies, and drive accountability across stakeholders.
- Create executive-level deliverables including business case memos, decision documents, presentations, program updates, and transformation roadmaps.
- Manage RAID items, transformation milestones, SDLC requirements, and program governance while supporting Tax, Operations, RevOps, Controllership, and Finance initiatives.
- 8–10+ years of experience in technology, consulting, industry, PMO, or finance transformation environments.
- Extensive experience leading large-scale transformation programs and system implementations across multiple functional areas.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end financial processes, financial systems, internal controls, and Tax-related processes within a global organization.
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders, manage ambiguity, drive accountability, and deliver results in fast-paced environments.
- Experience supporting CFO, Finance, Accounting, Tax, Controllership, or Revenue Operations transformation initiatives.
- Consulting background combined with hands-on industry/PMO experience.
- Experience establishing enablement functions such as Change Management, Value/Budgeting, and Transition Management.
- Experience with transformation playbooks, SDLC governance, and post-implementation value realization.
- MBA or advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline; equivalent experience may be considered.
- CPA or equivalent professional certification is a plus.
- Strong executive communication, presentation, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
- Self-starter with intellectual curiosity and a hands-on, action-oriented approach to driving organizational change.
