This role leads key aspects of commercial financial planning and forecasting, Revenue Growth Management (RGM), pricing architecture compliance, and customer-facing financial partnership. The Senior Manager plays a critical role in driving profitable revenue growth, improving financial transparency, and enabling data-driven go-to-market decisions as the business scales.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Financial Planning & Forecasting

  • Lead core components of the commercial forecast and annual planning process, including volume, revenue, mix, and pricing assumptions.

  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain to translate go-to-market strategies into accurate, executable financial plans.

  • Develop scenario and sensitivity analyses to assess the financial impact of pricing actions, mix shifts, customer growth initiatives, and channel expansion.

  • Support long-range planning and strategic initiatives through forward-looking financial modeling and insight.

Revenue Growth Management (RGM)

  • Support the development and execution of Alphia’s Revenue Growth Management framework across customers, channels, and product portfolios.

  • Analyze price, mix, pack architecture, and channel performance to identify revenue and margin optimization opportunities.

  • Provide financial insight into portfolio rationalization, innovation economics, and go-to-market prioritization.

  • Track and report RGM performance metrics, ensuring visibility into revenue, margin, and mix drivers.

Pricing Architecture & Compliance

  • Serve as the finance owner for pricing architecture governance, including list prices, customer price tiers, floors, and escalation mechanisms.

  • Partner with Sales and Sales Operations to ensure pricing actions comply with approved pricing architecture and margin guardrails.

  • Monitor and report pricing compliance, leakage, and exception trends, escalating risks and recommending corrective actions.

  • Support pricing change modeling, implementation tracking, and post-implementation performance analysis.

Customer-Facing Finance & Business Partnership

  • Act as a primary finance partner to key sales leaders and customer teams.

  • Provide customer- and channel-level profitability analysis, including pricing, mix, and cost-to-serve insights.

  • Support customer negotiations and commercial decisions by modeling deal economics, volume commitments, and pricing scenarios.

  • Translate financial complexity into clear, actionable guidance for commercial leaders.

Performance Analytics & Decision Support

  • Develop and maintain commercial performance dashboards and KPIs, including net sales, gross margin, pricing realization, and mix impact.

  • Analyze performance versus plan and forecast, identifying risks, opportunities, and recommended actions.

  • Deliver executive-ready insights that connect commercial performance to financial outcomes.

  • Support ad hoc analysis related to new business opportunities, innovation launches, and go-to-market changes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Process Improvement

  • Partner closely with FP&A, Supply Chain Finance, Sales Operations, Marketing, and IT to ensure alignment across planning, pricing, and performance reporting.

  • Drive improvements in commercial finance processes, data quality, and analytical tools as the business scales.

  • Support system enhancements related to pricing, forecasting, and commercial analytics.

  • Establish consistent financial frameworks and governance to support disciplined commercial decision-making.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.

  • 7+ years of progressive finance experience, with significant exposure to commercial finance, sales finance, FP&A, or RGM in a CPG, Food, Beverage, or Pet Food environment.

  • Demonstrated experience supporting pricing strategy, revenue management, and customer-facing commercial teams.

Technical & Functional Skills

  • Strong FP&A and financial modeling capabilities, including scenario and sensitivity analysis.

  • Deep understanding of pricing architecture, price realization, mix management, and revenue drivers.

  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP, planning, and pricing systems preferred.

  • Ability to synthesize complex data into clear, decision-ready insights.

Leadership & Business Skills

  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.

  • Strong communication and executive presence, particularly in customer-facing and senior leadership settings.

  • High business acumen, intellectual curiosity, and comfort operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

  • Collaborative, proactive, and results-oriented mindset.

Work Environment & Expectations
