Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and scale the second-line independent testing and oversight function.
  • Develop and execute a risk-based annual BSA/AML testing plan aligned toregulatory expectations and internal risk assessments.
  • Oversee governance framework including policy development, changemanagement, approvals, and regulatory updates.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and advisory support on BSA priorities, includingEnhanced Due Diligence (EDD), high-risk industry requirements, and emergingregulatory expectations.
  • Manage issue identification, remediation tracking, validation, and reporting tosenior management and risk committees.
  • Oversee and manage India-based testing resources to ensure consistentmethodology, quality control, and defensible documentation standards.
  • Support external audits, sponsor bank reviews, due diligence requests, andregulatory examinations.
  • Develop and maintain metrics, dashboards, and KPIs to monitor effectiveness ofthe BSA/AML control environment.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Risk, Operations, Compliance, and Legalto provide governance oversight and ensure regulatory alignment.
  • Coordinate with business teams to obtain data, documentation, and evidencenecessary for testing and internal control reviews.
  • Identify control gaps, recommend enhancements, and support scalablecompliance program improvements as Bluevine grows.

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in BSA/AML compliance, governance, riskoversight, or independent testing within a banking or fintech environment.
  • Demonstrated experience building or managing independent testing or qualityassurance programs.
  • Experience supporting regulatory exams, external audits, and sponsor bankoversight.
  • Prior managerial experience, including oversight of distributed or offshore teamspreferred.Strong understanding of compliance governance frameworks, issue management,and policy lifecycle management.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability toassess complex regulatory requirements.
  • Proven ability to operate independently and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growthenvironment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparingmaterials for senior leadership or board-level reporting.

New Hire Base Salary Range: $163,500 - $200,300

This role is also eligible to earn annual performance-based incentive compensation in the form of a cash bonus.
