  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders-including Business, Product, Operations, and Production Support-to continuously enhance the Claims platform and automate efficient processes to improve SLAs.
  • Roadmap Execution: Partner with Product teams to define, prioritize, and manage the technical claims roadmap, ensuring our architecture meets current and future business needs.
  • Drive AI & Agentic Development: Lead the team's adoption of AI-powered developer tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, WindSurf) and drive architectural decisions for building AI-native, Agentic solutions (utilizing tools like LangChain or Google ADK).
  • Technical and People Leadership: Guide the team in building scalable, cloud-native backend services and integrations using our tech stack (Java/Spring Cloud, Kafka, AWS, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL) and Business Rules Management Systems (BRMS).

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Experience: Minimum of 12 years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years of experience directly managing engineering teams.
  • Healthcare Domain: Proven experience working in the Healthcare Payer or Provider domain; familiarity with claims adjudication, partner integrations, and healthcare payments is highly preferred.
  • Agile Delivery: Well-versed with the Agile development lifecycle, with a strong track record of building, launching, and maintaining complex, data-intensive systems.
  • AI & Agentic Proficiency: Working knowledge of AI coding and Agentic processes. You should have a foundational understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs) and how to leverage them for advanced developer operations and product features.
