The Senior Manager, Franchise Communications will lead U.S. brand and franchise communications across Galderma's three business units: Dermatological Skincare, Injectable Aesthetics, and Therapeutic Dermatology. This role drives integrated communications strategies that elevate brand visibility, support major product launches, and strengthen scientific and clinical storytelling. The position develops proactive earned media opportunities and ensures consistent, high-quality communications across consumer, professional, and medical audiences. This highly visible role influences cross functional partners and plays a critical part in shaping how Galderma shows up in the U.S. market.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy Development- 30%
Serve as a strategic communications partner to brand teams across all three business units.
Develop integrated communications strategies that drive brand visibility, support launches, and enhance franchise storytelling.
Identify crossfranchise storytelling opportunities that reinforce Galderma's Integrated Dermatology Strategy.
Embed early with BU teams to anticipate needs, elevate communications thinking, and ensure alignment with business priorities.
Content & Storytelling- 25%
Shape proactive earned media opportunities across consumer, beauty, aesthetics, health, medical, and trade outlets to strengthen brand presence and awareness.
Develop messaging frameworks, press releases, Q&As, and media materials that accurately reflect scientific, clinical, and product narratives.
Create communications toolkits and content assets that can be activated across earned, social, digital, and internal channels.
Support content needs for key events, congresses, HCP engagements, and national meetings.
Thought Leadership & Executive Visibility- 20%
Identify and secure opportunities for medical experts, brand leaders, and U.S. executives to build visibility and reinforce brand leadership.
Prepare spokespeople for media interviews, conferences, and speaking engagements aligned with strategic priorities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration- 25%
Partner closely with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Legal, Regulatory, HR, and other teams to ensure accurate, consistent communications.
Drive alignment across all business units and ensure cohesive external representation of Galderma.
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field.
7-10+ years of experience in PR, brand communications, or franchise communications, ideally within regulated industries such as dermatology, aesthetics, consumer health, pharma, or medical devices.
Strong experience supporting brand and product launches, earned media strategy, and scientific/data storytelling.
Excellent writing, messaging, and storytelling skills.
Proven cross-functional influence and ability to work effectively with commercial and medical teams.
Experience collaborating with external PR or communications agencies.
Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Must be based in Miami with regular in-person collaboration required.
