Job Description

The Senior Manager, Talent for Corporate, drives the development, engagement, retention, and attraction of key talent across all corporate organizations within JBT Marel. You will partner closely with business leaders and the Talent Management Center of Excellence team to promote talent strategies that ensure our culture, operating model, and long‑term business objectives.

As a key member of the Talent Management community, you will collaborate to lead and implement enterprise‑wide talent management processes, systems, and solutions. This includes succession planning, learning and development, culture and engagement, performance management, DEIB, and talent acquisition. You will also play a critical role in supporting, designing, and leading organizational change initiatives to improve the ongoing integration and organizational development of JBT Marel.

Operating in a diverse and dynamic landscape, you will be part of the Corporate HR team. You will work in close partnership with HR colleagues and senior leaders across a wide array of functions-including Finance, HR, Legal, IT, Spare Parts, Supply Chain, Strategy & Innovation, Software & Digital, and the Integration Management Office. Through this collaboration, you will help shape and strengthen the talent frameworks, leadership capability, and cultural evolution required to achieve JBT Marel's strategic goals.

In this challenging role, your responsibilities include:

  • Contribute to the talent management community and, together with the central Talent Management function, to identify talent and engagement needs across the organization
  • Act as the ambassador of the corporate organization and capture the needs when you develop, implement, and maintain new talent processes, tools, and systems.
  • Act as the ambassador of the corporate talent management functions towards the corporate HR colleagues and business leaders, and ensure that you implement and embed processes accordingly, monitoring their effectiveness.
  • Parter with different business leaders and your HR colleagues, and coach them to identify and develop talent for succession plans
  • Identify corporate specific needs for talent management, talent acquisition, talent development and talent engagement, and share best practices across divisions
  • Manage leadership succession plans; identify gaps in the talent pipeline and ensure plans are in place to address talent gaps
  • Strategically monitor the development of key talent and ensure that development plans are in place and achieved; ensure readiness for next likely assignment
  • Continually evaluate and drive organizational design improvements at the individual, team, and organizational level
  • Conduct short and long-term workforce planning and analysis
  • Support skills management implementation and continuous improvement, ensuring it's well embedded in our day to day activities
  • Conduct new leader assimilations with key leaders
  • Lead global projects and/or initiatives, support merger and acquisition planning and organization design
  • Build HR capabilities worldwide, including business partnering, talent management, and organizational development
  • Design, deliver and monitor effective utilization of key leadership development programs in partnership with the central Talent Management function.
  • Ensure effective utilization of Workday from a talent management perspective

Experience:

  • 10+ years of HR leadership experience with focus on Talent Management
  • 5+ years of people management experience
  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal, communication and change management skills
  • Global work experience

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, psychology, organizational development or related disciplines
  • Preferred: Master's degree in related field

Knowledge and Skills

  • Excellent presentation/facilitation, interpersonal, communication and change management skills
  • Experience managing change programs, especially in mergers and acquisitions
  • Data analytics to drive data decision-making
  • Experience conducting needs assessments to determine effective talent management solutions to meet business needs
  • Expert in at least one of the talent topics: talent management, talent development, talent acquisition or talent engagement, and understanding of all other topics

The estimated annual salary range for this role is $133,000 - $178,000. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Starting salary will vary by location, qualifications, and prior experience.
