The Job

This position sits within our Global Investment Team and will be based out of the regional office in Charlotte, NC, USA. The Team is responsible for developing, driving and closing complex container terminal investment opportunities across the U.S. and Canada.

The role offers end-to-end exposure across M&A, greenfield & brownfield development, public-private partnerships, and portfolio optimization. It is an opportunity to help drive national infrastructure growth, lead transformative port projects, and shape the future of supply chains.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as crucial part of the deal team developing, negotiating and closing complex container terminal investment deals.
  • Lead day‑to‑day execution of investment projects, tracking performance, risks, dependencies, and delivery against the Investment Plan.
  • Own and maintain the integrated project plan, ensuring cross‑functional alignment across Commercial, Technical, Finance, Legal, Public Affairs, and regional teams.
  • Coordinate development of the investment case, validating assumptions, supporting scenario modelling, and ensuring clarity of value drivers.
  • Drive collaboration and communication so stakeholders remain aligned, informed, and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure deliverables meet agreed quality standards and support the Campaign Director with business‑case preparation and Win Room inputs.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation across all phases of the investment process, supporting project governance, decision-making, and audit trails.
  • Monitor and manage the project budget, validate forecasts, and reinforce financial discipline.

  • Strong capability in developing, analysing, and challenging investment or business‑case assumptions, including modelling scenarios and identifying value levers.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence without authority across functions and cultures.
  • Exceptional organisational discipline, including structured documentation, reporting, and governance alignment.
  • Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills, with comfort navigating ambiguity and adjusting approach as needed.
  • Clear, concise communication skills, with the ability to synthesise complex information for diverse audiences.
  • Cultural awareness and the ability to collaborate effectively with global teams.

Salary: $150,000 - $180,000 + bonus & benefits
