As a Field Applications Engineer Manager and Global Technical Lead, you will serve as the primary technical liaison for key customers while leading global technical engagement. This role is critical in aligning customer requirements with Micron’s capabilities, enabling design wins, and ensuring best-in-class support. You’ll guide cross-functional teams, navigate complex technical challenges, and play a direct role in revenue success.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead global technical engagement, driving alignment, design wins, and revenue enablement
  • Manage and coordinate FAE teams and cross-functional partners to deliver consistent worldwide support
  • Partner with customers to define system architecture, memory configurations, and integration strategies
  • Collaborate with sales, engineering, and marketing to align on product direction and customer requirements
  • Resolve technical challenges that impact customer adoption and revenue recognition

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in memory or storage (DRAM, HDD, SSD) engineering, validation, or applications
  • Experience with system architecture, integration, testing, and troubleshooting in datacenter or compute environments
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing direct or virtual teams
  • Strong communication and customer engagement skills
  • Experience using Artificial Intelligence tools

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting global customers across multiple regions
  • Knowledge of both DRAM and storage technologies in production environments
  • Background influencing product or system design through customer insights
  • Experience working cross-functionally with sales, product, and engineering teams
  • Ability to engage effectively with senior and executive-level stakeholders

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

$147,000-$287,000

Additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses, and equity.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base pay for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
