Responsibilities:

  • Own strategy, buying, and optimization of OPF's Google Ads and Microsoft Ads accounts across Search, Performance Max, YouTube, Demand Gen, and Display.
  • Build and maintain keyword strategy, match types, negative keyword lists, and account structure across English and Spanish campaigns for business funding and working capital intent.
  • Manage budgets and bidding strategies (tCPA, tROAS, value-based bidding) to hit cost-per-qualified and cost-per-funded targets.
  • Partner with the Tagging Manager to implement and maintain Enhanced Conversions, offline conversion imports from CRM, and conversion value rules so bidding optimizes toward qualified and funded deals.
  • Write, test, and refresh responsive search ad copy and assets; manage YouTube and Demand Gen creative testing with the creative team.
  • Maintain compliance with Google's financial services policies and advertiser verification, and coordinate with Legal/Compliance on ad copy and disclosures.
  • Monitor competitor activity and auction insights, and protect brand terms.
  • Partner with the CRO team on landing page testing and message match for search intent.
  • Run geo and incrementality tests in partnership with marketing analytics to validate channel contribution.
  • Produce weekly and monthly performance reporting with clear insights and recommendations.

How Success Is Measured

  • Search impression share on core high-intent terms at target efficiency.
  • Cost per qualified lead and cost per funded deal from Google and Microsoft Ads.
  • Offline conversion import health and match rates.
  • Incremental volume from PMax, YouTube, and Demand Gen.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of hands-on paid search buying, with direct ownership of meaningful Google Ads budgets (ideally $250K+/month).
  • Expert knowledge of Google Ads (Search, PMax, YouTube, Demand Gen), Google Ads Editor, and Microsoft Ads.
  • Hands-on experience with Smart Bidding, Enhanced Conversions, and offline conversion imports.
  • Strong analytical skills with Excel/Google Sheets, GA4, and BI tools; comfortable with Google Ads scripts or similar automation.
  • Experience advertising in a competitive, regulated vertical (financial services, insurance, legal, or healthcare).
  • Ability to connect platform metrics to downstream business outcomes.
  • Google Ads certifications (Search, Display, Video, Measurement).

Nice to Have

  • Fluency in Spanish, or meaningful experience building campaigns for US Hispanic and Puerto Rican audiences.
  • Experience with lending, RBF/MCA, or SMB lead generation.
  • Experience with SA360 or third-party bid management tools.
  • Basic SQL for pulling CRM and conversion data.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary
  • Performance-based incentives
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits
  • 401(k) and paid time off
  • The opportunity to shape a fast-growing marketing organization and have a direct impact on company growth
  • Growth and development opportunities
