Job Description

Senior Manager, Supply ChainWho We Are:

At Perry Weather, we're at the forefront of providing innovative weather safety solutions. Thousands of users trust our fast-growing weather safety platform across various industries, including school districts, cities, universities, golf courses, professional sports and more. Our cutting-edge software and connected hardware empower organizations to make rapid decisions when faced with weather disruptions, ensuring the safety of individuals and the smooth operation of activities/events.

We're looking for a Senior Manager, Supply Chain to build and lead our supply chain function at a critical stage of growth. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires someone who has built supply chain processes before in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.

You will own the full supply chain cycle — from demand planning and procurement through manufacturing and fulfillment — and will be responsible for standing up a formal S&OP process from the ground up. That means leveraging existing foundational tools and processes while developing new ones, ultimately creating a cohesive, repeatable cycle that drives data-backed decision-making across the business.

This role reports directly to the VP of Hardware and manages a team that spans procurement and warehouse/production operations.Key Responsibilities

  • Stand up and operate a formal S&OP process, connecting forecast and sales pipeline data to supply, procurement and production decisions

  • Maintain inventory accuracy and optimize safety stock levels against demand signal and lead time reality, ensuring healthy stock levels for a high growth operation

  • Oversee and manage the warehousing, assembly and manufacturing, fulfillment, and procurement functions

  • Set clear expectations, develop talent, and build a high-accountability supply chain team

  • Serve as the day-to-day decision-maker for procurement and operational priorities, escalating to VP of Hardware as needed

  • Drive alternate supplier qualification for single-sourced components — minimum one qualified backup per critical part

  • Utilize data to align production capacity with forward-looking demand, identifying and flagging capacity constraints before they become delivery issues

  • Support continuous improvement across the Supply Chain

What We’re Looking For

  • 7–10 years of supply chain experience, with at least 2–3 years managing a team

  • Demonstrated experience managing and/or building a dynamic S&OP process — you know what good looks like and how to build it

  • Strong procurement background: supplier negotiations, lead time management, alternate sourcing

  • Comfortable operating in a lean, fast-moving environment where you'll build process while executing it quickly

  • Data-driven decision-maker who is comfortable taking large information sets and condensing them into actionable decisions.

  • Hardware or physical products experience required; familiarity with long lead time components and BOM-based planning is a plus

  • Excellent cross-functional communicator with the ability to translate supply chain complexity into clear business terms for the organization

Benefits

  • You'll actually want to come in. Our Oak Lawn office isn't just a place to sit, it's where ideas move fast and culture stays strong. The whole team is here Monday through Friday, which means real collaboration, no chasing people down over Slack, and a genuinely fun place to spend your work days.

  • Your wellbeing is covered. Competitive health insurance, 401(k) with employer matching, and a full suite of voluntary benefits, because you shouldn't have to think twice about the basics.

  • Good people, good times. Monthly All-Hands, Office Olympics, happy hours, and more. We take the work seriously and the culture seriously too.

  • You're getting in early, and that matters. We're growing fast, but the biggest opportunities are still ahead. The people joining now will help shape what Perry Weather becomes.
