About the Role

The Salesforce DET team is hiring a Senior Manager of Software Engineering to lead a global team delivering critical enterprise capabilities for internal and external Salesforce customers. This is a high-impact leadership role at the intersection of engineering excellence, business transformation, and people development with a focus on Trust, Customer Success, Innovation, and Equality. You'll shape the engineering strategy for our Revenue business domains and drive meaningful outcomes across the Invoice to Cash lifecycle.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Hire, develop, and grow a high-performing global engineering team, championing Salesforce's culture and creating an environment where people do the best work of their careers

  • Oversee delivery of complex enterprise application development projects across a broad technology portfolio, ensuring solutions align with long-term business objectives

  • Define, implement, and influence engineering strategy and standards, and drive adoption across the organization

  • Lead collaboration and decision-making across a wide network of stakeholders, delivery partners, operational teams, and vendor/contractor teams

  • Champion operational excellence and lead appropriate incident management and resolution for mission-critical production systems

  • Partner with business leaders across Revenue domains (Invoice to Cash, ERP integrations) to translate strategy into scalable technical solutions

  • Stay current on industry best practices and emerging technologies, bringing fresh thinking to how we build and operate

  • Develop and maintain deep knowledge of Salesforce's business, products, and the DET application portfolio

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • 12+ years of professional experience with 6+ years of managing global engineering teams at scale, including vendor partners and extended contractor teams

  • Demonstrated delivery accountability for complex enterprise application development

  • Proficiency across a spectrum of delivery methodologies (Agile, Kanban, hybrid, waterfall)

  • Proficiency in leading AI software development life cycle with AI tools and deep expertise

  • Experience in building Agents and AI led applications

  • Experience in Sales and Quote to Cash business domains - including Account, Lead, Opportunity, Quote, Order, and Invoicing,Billing and integrations to ERP

  • Experience managing external customer-facing and public-facing properties

  • Track record of leading production operations for mission-critical applications

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence across all levels

  • Ability to oversee multiple complex project deliveries in parallel

  • Embodies Salesforce's Aloha spirit - demonstrating trust, integrity, character, and compassion

  • A related technical degree required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce technology and the Salesforce Platform

  • Background in ERP systems and Revenue business domain integrations

  • Experience operating in a large, matrix enterprise environment

  • Full stack along with AI knowledge
