  • Review proposed monthly indirect tax journal entries and manage ERP approval of corresponding

postings.

  • Analyze month-over-month balance sheet flux for each indirect tax account and provide a high-level

comprehensive explanation of the identified variances.

  • Prepare monthly indirect tax movement KPI reports for VP review and presentation to Finance leaders

during the month's CFO review meeting.

  • Manage monthly and quarterly preparation of indirect tax reserves in accordance with applicable

accounting standards.

  • Assist with the annual financial statement process, including reconciliations, journal entries, and support

schedules.

  • Manage and support indirect tax audits, notices, IDRs, and controversy matters, including gathering

documentation, performing reconciliations and analysis, coordinating responses, and maintaining audit

trackers

  • Maintain recordkeeping for indirect tax filings, indirect tax notices and audit documentation.
  • Monitor indirect tax legislation changes relevant to StockX, research the impact, and help drive

implementation of necessary changes.

  • Evaluate the indirect tax implications of new international business initiatives, lead or support cross-

functional implementation of process enhancements in partnership with Finance, Legal, Product, and

Operations departments, and develop scalable, audit-ready compliance frameworks.

  • Assist with registrations, annual compliance requirements, special projects, and ad hoc requests from

business partners and external advisors.

  • Coach, mentor, and develop tax professionals at all levels by providing regular feedback, supporting career growth, building succession plans, and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.

About you

  • 10+ years of experience in international indirect tax, including VAT/GST/JCT compliance and advisory work

across multiple jurisdictions.

  • Expertise in EU VAT, including IOSS, OSS, Intrastat, and fiscal representation frameworks
  • Experience with tax account reconciliations, workpapers, and month-end or quarter-end close support
  • Proven ability to translate complex indirect tax concepts into clear, actionable guidance for cross-

functional business partners and senior leadership.

  • Experience managing multiple compliance workstreams simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-growth

environment.

  • Strong analytical research, communication, and project management skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Google Sheets, and Databricks or similar

platforms

Must have skills

  • Industry experience in e-commerce, marketplace platforms, or digital goods
  • Experience preparing supporting workpapers, maintaining tax records, and coordinating compliance tasks

with internal and external stakeholders

  • Ability to research indirect tax issues and apply findings to business operations and compliance
