Job Description

Join Triumph!

At Triumph, our vision is a world where freight transactions are accurate and seamless on the most modern and secure freight transaction network. That’s why we’re looking for passionate, innovative, solutions-oriented people to join our team. We thrive on providing exceptional customer service and we look for team members with an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion to build successful partnerships with our clients. Because at the end of the day our goal is to help our partners businesses run better.

Role Summary:Triumph is seeking a hands-on Senior Manager of Cloud Network Engineering & Security to lead and evolve our enterprise-wide network across cloud and on-prem environments, and working hybrid from our Dallas Headquarters office. This is a highly technical leadership role focused heavily on cloud networking in AWS and Azure. You’ll guide a talented team while rolling up your sleeves to design, implement, and secure scalable, high-performing network solutions that power our business.

Day in the Life:In this role, you’ll spend your time deep in cloud routing and networking—designing multi-region architectures in AWS and Azure (including US East and US West regions), configuring ExpressRoute, Direct Connect, and transit gateways, and deploying SD-WAN in Azure environments. You’ll collaborate closely with DevOps and cloud teams, advise technical stakeholders on best practices, and actively support workload migrations to the cloud while reducing on-prem data center footprint. This is not a “manage from the sidelines” position—you’ll be hands-on with day-to-day configurations and strategic decision-making alike.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of network engineers while remaining hands-on in engineering work

  • Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, firewall, and cloud networking environments

  • Architect and support AWS and Azure cloud networking, including ExpressRoute, Direct Connect, VPCs/VNets, gateways, load balancers, and transit gateways

  • Oversee multi-region network deployments across AWS and Azure

  • Drive cloud-focused network strategies supporting workload migration and reduced on-prem infrastructure

  • Build and lead a Network Operations Center (NOC) to monitor performance and manage incidents

  • Strengthen network disaster recovery and resiliency strategies, including failover capabilities

  • Ensure network security controls are properly designed, implemented, and maintained

  • Partner with Information Security, IT, DevOps, and business teams to align network architecture with security and compliance requirements

  • Oversee network changes and improvements to maintain stability and business continuity

  • Leverage automation tools such as Ansible (on-prem) and Terraform (cloud) to streamline operations

What Makes You a Great Fit:

  • 7+ years of network engineering experience, with at least 3 years leading teams

  • Strong hands-on expertise in cloud networking, with 3+ years in AWS and/or Azure

  • Experience designing multi-region cloud environments in AWS and Azure

  • Deep knowledge of routing and Layer 3 technologies (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, TCP/IP)

  • Proven experience with SD-WAN deployments, firewalls, VPNs, and enterprise networking

  • Strong experience with ExpressRoute, Direct Connect, and transit gateways

  • Background in both cloud (85–90%) and traditional on-prem networking environments

  • Experience using Ansible, Terraform, Python, or similar tools for automation

  • Ability to advise and guide technical teams on cloud network implementation best practices

  • AWS and/or Azure networking certifications (preferred), or equivalent deep practical experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
