Job Description
Position Summary...
Lead and scale a high-growth affiliate and social commerce engine that turns affiliate & creator ecosystems into measurable, profitable revenue. This leader owns the operational backbone, financial integrity, platform strategy, and cross-functional execution required to build a best-in-class social commerce business. This is not a siloed role. Success requires deep collaboration across Product, Engineering, Merchandising, Legal, Finance, Marketing, Retail Media, and external partners. The ideal candidate combines strategic vision with operational precision, financial fluency, and hands-on automation expertise. What you'll do...
Build & Scale the Affiliate & Social Commerce Engine
- Own end-to-end affiliate and social commerce operations: onboarding, attribution, commissions, invoicing, payouts, governance, and lifecycle management.
- Design scalable systems to support rapid creator and publisher growth while maintaining financial accuracy and compliance.
- Optimize core performance levers: traffic, conversion, AOV, repeat rate, LTV, and contribution margin.
- Develop commission strategies, incentive frameworks, and partner tiering models that drive productivity and retention.
- Ensure airtight tracking, fraud prevention, brand safety, and data integrity across platforms.
Financial & Legal Stewardship
- Demonstrate deep financial ownership of the business — including forecasting, contribution margin management, accruals, reconciliation, and invoicing accuracy.
- Partner closely with Finance to ensure clean reporting, audit readiness, and scalable payout processes.
- Work hand-in-hand with Legal to establish compliant contracts, rights management, governance standards, and risk mitigation frameworks.
- Build processes that stand up to scrutiny — operationally and legally.
Platform, Infrastructure & Automation
- Lead automation of workflows, reporting, and attribution systems to reduce manual effort and increase scalability.
- Build dashboards that matter: GMV, margin, paid performance impact, creator productivity, ROAS, CAC, and incrementality.
- Establish rigorous reporting cadences and executive-ready insights.
- Leverage data and analytical thinking to continuously optimize performance and identify growth opportunities.
- Support launches across shoppable video, retail media integrations, and emerging platforms.
- Operationalize creator/UGC content across paid social, retail media, onsite placements, programmatic, and CTV.
Leadership Profile
- Highly collaborative and cross-functional — able to influence across disciplines and align diverse stakeholders.
- Meticulous attention to detail with strong analytical rigor.
- Proven experience automating operational processes and building scalable reporting systems.
- Financially fluent with tangible experience managing invoicing, reconciliation, and budget ownership.
- Strategic operator who can zoom out to define long-term roadmap and zoom in to solve executional bottlenecks.
- Thrives in fast-moving, high-growth environments with complex stakeholder landscapes.
