  • Establish, maintain, and enforce engineering standards, best practices, code quality expectations, and documentation across the Salesforce ecosystem.

  • Partner with Enterprise Applications and IT to ensure seamless integrations between Salesforce and other core systems (e.g., ERP, billing, support platforms, data warehouse).

  • Drive architectural decisions that align with long-term platform sustainability and private equity value-creation objectives.

  • Provide technical leadership and engineering ownership for Salesforce, partnering closely with Salesforce Administration, RevOps, and IT on configuration, process design, and platform enablement.

People & Delivery Management

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Salesforce engineers, developers, and technical leads.

  • Own hiring, onboarding, performance management, career development, and succession planning for the Salesforce engineering team.

  • Ensure predictable, high-quality delivery across multiple concurrent initiatives by balancing hands-on leadership with effective delegation.

  • Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

Business Partnership & Strategy

  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor to leaders across Business Operations, Revenue, Finance, Legal, and Customer Success.

  • Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions while managing trade-offs and competing priorities.

  • Support private equity operating rhythms, including KPI instrumentation, audit readiness, board-level reporting support, and change management.

  • Contribute to platform roadmap planning, annual budgeting, vendor management, and license optimization.

Governance, Risk & Optimization

  • Own Salesforce platform governance, including security model, permissions, data integrity, release management, and change control.

  • Lead platform optimization initiatives to reduce technical debt, expand automation, and improve end-user experience and productivity.

  • Stay current with Salesforce ecosystem advancements (e.g., AI, automation, DevOps tools) and evaluate their impact on the business.

What You'll Bring

Must Haves:

  • 8+ years of experience in Salesforce engineering or development, with deep expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), integrations, and platform architecture.

  • 3+ years of experience managing engineers, including senior developers or technical leads.

  • Demonstrated experience supporting Salesforce at scale in a SaaS or enterprise environment.

  • Strong ability to partner with cross-functional stakeholders and executive leadership.

  • Experience as a Salesforce Platform Developer

  • Authorization to work in the United States.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Salesforce Platform Developer Certification and additional Salesforce certifications strongly preferred.

  • Experience in legal technology, professional services, or B2B SaaS environments.

  • Hands-on experience with CPQ, complex automation, or enterprise-grade integrations.

  • Familiarity with agile development practices and modern DevOps methodologies.

  • Experience defining and operating Salesforce governance models in compliance-sensitive environments.

What You'll Experience

  • A team that shows up. Work alongside people who collaborate, support one another, and lead with integrity.

  • Global Reach. Partner with teams around the world to solve complex challenges that matter.
