In this role you will work in a dynamic environment with a relentless focus on improving our quality metrics by leveraging your strong problem solving and continuous improvement skills. In this highly visible role you will lead the Quality Management System and support internal and Customers.

A typical day will consist of a myriad of quality centric activities from concept to full rate production within Quality Assurance. You will serve a number of internal and external customers including our DFM Engineering, QC, Case Management, Partner Management and our exceptional external Customers.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Partner Quality Network activities and Partner audits
  • Manage Supplier Quality Engineering Team to develop and improve supplier quality and production initiatives.
  • Lead team of Virtual Quality Control Inspectors including goal setting and performance management
  • Participate in Quality Management Systems activities to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485, IATF 16949 and Customer audits
  • Superior BIG data analytics experience
  • Establish and manage key quality system metrics and develop collection, analysis and reporting systems, which promote timely communication and corrective action from partners
  • Escalate nonconformities in the Quality System to Leadership where appropriate
  • Develop Partner quality planning/objectives, metrics and goals; lead efforts related to the Company's Quality Vision and Objectives
  • Create a trusting partnership with the distributed network of Suppliers resulting in exceptional quality
  • Facilitate cross-functional Team optimization efforts and workshops geared towards Partner NCR/RMA reductions
  • Chair Partner Review Board to reduce Partner rejections
  • Continuously monitor and address emerging Partner issues while ensuring the most important projects/issues are identified through the Internal Quality Team process and effectively complete those projects in the shortest time possible
  • Serve as a cultural leader promoting quality standards at all levels

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in engineering, quality role, or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in supplier facing role or equivalent
  • Strong Quality Assurance / Supplier Development experience
  • Experience with APQP/PPAP elements
  • Use of various lab equipment: GD&T tools
  • Internal auditing experience iaw ISO 9001 standards
  • Expert in building partnerships with Suppliers and Teams
  • Mechanical/Manufacturing processing knowledge
  • Able to read and interpret drawings/specifications
  • Good time management / project management capabilities
  • Knowledge of Process Certification/Process Robustness
  • Solid analytic and articulation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Six Sigma Black Belt Certification
  • ASQ Certification
  • Familiar with Looker, Salesforce, Google Suite
  • ISO 13485/AS9100/IATF 16949 experience
  • Knowledge of Process Certification/Process Robustness

The estimated base salary range for new hires into this role is $160,000-176,000 annually + annual bonus depending on factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, and location.
