Job Description

Reputable and growing real estate investment platform is seeking a sharp Senior Accounting Manager who wants more than just managing a close process.

This role sits at the intersection of leadership, process improvement, and operational scale—with direct exposure to executive leadership, including the CFO and CAO.

*$165-$200K (base + full annual bonus) + additional cash equity

Highlights:

You’ll lead and develop a team (onshore + offshore) and be expected to elevate performance
You’ll step into a function that’s evolving—there’s real opportunity to standardize, automate, and improve
You’ll partner cross-functionally with FP&A, Tax, Capital Markets, and Transaction teams
You’ll gain exposure to complex partnership structures
You’ll work directly with leadership on special projects and strategic initiatives

Responsibilities:

Overseeing partnership accounting across a large real estate portfolio
Managing cash operations (wires/ACH, receipts, disbursements) with a strong controls mindset
Improving liquidity reporting and cash forecasting in partnership with FP&A
Driving process improvements across accounting workflows and systems
Supporting resyndication and construction activity (draws, loan funding, CIP tracking)
Enhancing invoice processing and expense coding consistency
Supporting ERP and finance system implementations
Overseeing partnership waterfalls, contributions, and distributions

Qualified:

7+ years of accounting experience with prior team leadership
Strong partnership accounting experience (real estate preferred)
Someone who thinks beyond the day-to-day and looks for ways to improve and scale
CPA preferred
Experience in private equity and/or public accounting is a plus
Systems exposure to tools like Yardi, GTreasury, AVID, or similar
