  • Manage, coach, and quality-check the work of junior team members (Associates, Senior Associates, and Consultants) across engagements, ensuring clarity, structure, and timely execution.

  • Develop content and contribute to the preparation of high-quality client deliverables, including reports, written analyses, operational insights, and executive-ready presentations.

  • Demonstrate the highest level of professionalism, ethics, quality, and integrity in all interactions.

  • Support the evolution of RPI methodologies, templates, and processes; contribute insights that strengthen existing service offerings.

  • Bring a pragmatic, hands-on approach to problem-solving to ensure recommendations are grounded in operational reality and drive measurable impact.

  • Embrace BRG’s Core Values: Honesty, Integrity, Independence, Precision, Respect, Collaboration, Flexibility, and Responsiveness to Clients.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience in retail, direct-to-consumer, or consumer goods environments and/or consulting engagements with similar client types.

  • Expertise in one or more retail functional areas such as direct sourcing, product-to-market, consumer analytics, digital experience, marketing, personalization, digital commerce, back-office operations, distribution and transportation, store and omni-channel operations, or indirect procurement.

  • Demonstrated ability to conduct, interpret, and oversee financial and operational analyses, including supporting the implementation of performance improvement initiatives.

  • Experience improving working capital and financial performance through systems, tools, and bridge solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting/Finance, Management, Engineering, Economics, Retail Management, Supply Chain, or related field. MBA or master’s degree a plus.

  • Intellectual curiosity, self-starter mentality, and capacity to learn quickly in dynamic environments.

  • High proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and MS Teams. Experience with Access, Alteryx, Tableau, SQL, or Python is a plus.

  • Ability to travel to client sites as needed.

  • Typically 6–9 years of consulting experience with a retail focus, or 8–10+ years of combined consulting and retail industry experience, including experience leading workstreams and developing junior consultants.
