Shape the Future of Semiconductor Technology at Intel

Join Intel's Foundry Technology Development (TD) team as a FrameCellsetOwner (FCO) and play a critical role in advancing semiconductor manufacturing.You'llbe responsible forintegrating essentialscribeline cell; includingfabprocess monitors, lithography alignment marks, metrology targets, and electrical test structuresinto frame layouts that support product fabrication across all Intel process technologies.

About This Role 

As a FrameCellsetOwner,you'llcollaborate with cross-functional teams including Process Technology Development, Product Design, Lithography Resolution Enhancement, Design Enablement,TapeoutOperations, Mask Operations, and Virtual Factory teams. Your work will span from early technology development through high-volume manufacturing, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all frame-related deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

  • Layout Integration: Execute layout modifications based on process design specifications andfabmodule owner guidelines
  • Data Validation: Review and disposition design changes using XOR analysis and design rule verification flows
  • Technical Consultation: Provide frame dimension and field configuration guidance to product design teams
  • Quality Assurance: Verifyscribelinecell placement meetsfabprocess best-known methods and technology specifications
  • Process Management: Ensureaccurateframe data output andvalidateintegrity throughout thetapeoutprocess
  • Documentation & Communication:Maintaincomprehensive records of frame revisions and communicate NPI setup requirements to manufacturing teams via internal platforms

Qualifications:

The Minimum qualifications areto be initially considered for this positionMinimum qualifications listed below would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experience and / or schoolwork/classes/research. The preferred qualifications are in addition to theminimumrequirements and are considered a plus factor inidentifyingtop candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • PhDin Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Industrial/Mechanical Engineering, or relatedfield
  • OrMastersDegree inElectrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Industrial/Mechanical Engineering, or related field, with 3+ years of semiconductor manufacturing experience
  • OrBachelorsDegree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Industrial/Mechanical Engineering, or related field, with 4+ years of semiconductor manufacturing experience
  • Experience in semiconductor manufacturing processes, particularly lithography and metrology

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with CAD layout tools (Cadence Virtuoso,Calibredesign software preferred)
  • Proficiencyin UNIX computing environments and shell programming

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $115,110.00-219,550.00 USDThe range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Work Model for this Role
