About The Role
The Senior Marketing Automation Specialist is responsible for hands-on execution, optimization, and governance of marketing automation and customer communications within Salesforce Marketing Cloud. This role serves as the technical and operational owner of email, journey orchestration, audience segmentation, and CRM-integrated campaigns, partnering closely with the Senior Manager of Digital Marketing on platform strategy and governance.
What You'll Do
- Build, deploy, and manage automated emails and customer journeys in Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Manage CRM-integrated campaigns and data flows between Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud
- Design and maintain complex audience segmentation using Contact Builder and SQL
- Execute lifecycle marketing programs including lead nurture, onboarding, retention, and re-engagement
- Ensure data integrity, consent management, and regulatory compliance
- Monitor, analyze, and optimize campaign and journey performance
- Implement personalization, dynamic content, AMPscript, and testing strategies
- Support platform enhancements, upgrades, and continuous optimization initiatives
- Provide guidance and enablement to marketing team members on SFMC best practices and capabilities
- Coordinate with external vendors or agency partners as needed
