Senior Marketing Specialist – Promotions
SUMMARY
Under general direction, leads, coordinates, and manages innovative marketing programs. Develops and implements innovative marketing programs with emphasis on research, strategic planning, execution, problem solving and evaluation.
This is an exempt position in salary grade 190: Min – $84,531.20 | Mid – $100,984.00 | Max – $117,416.00/year. The starting salary will be within this range based on qualifications.

What You’ll Do:
Lead and manage innovative marketing programs from concept to evaluation
Conduct market research and analyze data to inform strategy and decision-making
Develop and execute strategic marketing plans aligned with organizational goals
Coordinate cross-functional projects, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met
Create compelling messaging and campaigns across multiple channels
Monitor performance metrics and optimize campaigns for maximum impact
Identify opportunities, solve problems creatively, and continuously improve results
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in public transportation, marketing, communications, public relations, business administration, or a related field
Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience demonstrating strong marketing and project management capabilities
Proven ability to develop and implement successful marketing strategies
Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Creative mindset with a results-driven approach
Special Requirements
Valid California driver license required.
Marketing Specialist – Promotions
SUMMARY
Under general supervision, supports, coordinates, and manages innovative marketing programs.Develops and implements innovative marketing programs with emphasis on research, strategic planning, execution, problem solving and evaluation.
This is a non-exempt position in salary grade 180: Min – $36.86 | Mid – $44.03 | Max – $51.20/hour. The starting salary will be within this range based on qualifications.
What You’ll Do:
Support the development and implementation of innovative marketing programs
Conduct research and analyze data to inform marketing strategies
Assist in creating and executing strategic marketing plans
Coordinate campaign timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional collaboration
Develop engaging content and messaging across multiple channels
Monitor campaign performance and recommend improvements
Apply creative problem-solving to enhance effectiveness and reach
Support evaluation efforts to measure impact and outcomes
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in public transportation, marketing, communications, public relations, business administration, or a related field
Minimum of three (3) years of professional experience demonstrating marketing and project management capabilities
Strong research, analytical, and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Creative thinker with attention to detail
Collaborative mindset and ability to work under general supervision
