DepthFirst is building intelligence to detect and remediate critical software vulnerabilities. We are training and scaling security AI agents to discover zero-days vulnerabilities, from large customer codebases to popular open source software.
Our founding team includes expertise in security and LLMs (with leaders from DeepMind, Databricks, Square, and Faire). We are looking for strong people who are interested in working at the intersection of AI, Security and Infrastructure.
About this role:
We’re looking for a Senior Member of our Design Staff to shape the next generation of our production design practice. In this role, you’ll drive the evolution of our design system and ensure its seamless application across every platform. You’ll partner closely with product feature teams to uphold production excellence across live experiences, and collaborate with marketing creative teams to streamline their workflows, making sure every asset meets our brand and quality standards. Your leadership will bring consistency, craft, and innovation to every corner of our product ecosystem.

Partner with Product and Engineering teams to define, build, and launch new products and features.
Create Clear User Flows, Wireframes, and Prototypes that effectively communicate and validate design concepts.
Deliver High-Fidelity, Well-Documented Visuals that uphold DepthFirst’s brand identity and design system standards.
Lead and Participate in User Research to uncover insights and inform design decisions
Foster a Strong Design Culture through collaboration, constructive feedback, and continuous process improvement.
Work on a Product that Solves a Critical Problem. We already have large customers using us who have found some eye-opening vulnerabilities within the first few days of using our product.
Qualifications
3+ years of professional experience designing digital products and systems. Your previous work demonstrates an attention to detail and high quality visual, UX, systems design, and content design.
Proven expertise in managing and scaling design systems, including system migrations and onboarding cross-functional teams to new libraries.
Deep mastery of Figma, including variables, components, branching, and advanced workflows, with familiarity in Sketch, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
Strong experience creating detailed specifications, redlines, and supporting accessibility and localization standards.
Comfortable using DevMode or similar handoff tools, with a clear understanding of modern production and engineering pipelines.
Skilled at collaborating with engineers to drive QA processes and ensure pixel-perfect implementation fidelity.
Experience improving design tooling, streamlining workflows, or contributing to automation initiatives is a plus.
