Job Description

Senior Military Operations Analyst – Navy Location: 100% On-Site – Arlington, VASecurity Clearance: TS/SCI RequiredPosition Summary:RPI Group seeks an experienced and high-performing Senior Military Operations Analyst to join our growing team in Washington, D.C. supporting an influential, high-energy Navy customer.  The ideal candidate will have executive-level leadership experience; proficiency staffing high-level decisions; and ability to place investment priorities in the context of military operations.Responsibilities:The Military Operations Analyst will support the preparation and execution of a holistic ONR science and technology (S&T) strategy.  In this role, the Military Operations Analyst will:
  • Organize day-to-day business functions to drive long-term strategy and communications
  • Produce written reports, technical assessments, and executive-level products
  • Organize and lead small group projects or studies
  • Coordinate meetings and manage relationships with multiple stakeholders
  • Be able to work independently and within a team
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Active TOP SECRET clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Bachelor’s degree and at least fifteen (15) years experience with national security organizations
  • Strong analytic, writing, and staffing skills, with experience briefing senior leaders
  • Prior government or military staff officer or analyst at government leadership levels
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Preferred:
  • Master’s degree in relevant program of study
  • 10 years of experience at US Navy or Marine Corps Major Command staff level, Combatant Command staff, Joint Staff, Office of Secretary of War staff, or similar level DoW or national security staff
  • Experience with S&T and research and development (R&D) portfolios
  • Experience staffing decisions for major acquisition programs or technical projects
  • Knowledge of US Navy programming, requirements, and acquisition processes
  • Knowledge of budgeting and execution
