Who we are looking for:
We’re in search of a Senior QA Mobile Engineer to join our team right away. Our ideal candidate is someone who thrives on building quality into every stage of the development lifecycle, has deep expertise in mobile QA, and enjoys mentoring others while collaborating with highly talented teams. If you love testing mobile apps at scale, automating processes, and ensuring flawless user experiences, this might be the perfect spot for you.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Review and oversee mobile testing executed by both onshore and offshore QA teams.
- Enhance product quality by identifying and helping to fix bugs before release.
- Continuously improve QA processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and product managers to ensure high-quality outputs.
- Mitigate risks by identifying issues early in the development cycle.
- Develop automated test scripts and frameworks for Android and iOS (XCTest, XCUITest, Espresso, UI Automator).
- Conduct usability and accessibility tests, ensuring apps are intuitive and inclusive.
- Advocate for QA best practices, driving improvements in both product and process quality.
- Lead and mentor junior QA team members, contributing to team growth and capability.
Some Must-Haves:
- 7+ years of professional QA experience.
- Proven track record in mobile native application testing for both iOS and Android.
- Experience testing across mobile, web, and backend services.
- Strong background in automation frameworks (XCTest, XCUITest, Espresso, UI Automator).
- Hands-on experience writing automation scripts from scratch.
- Skilled in QA tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and TestRail for test case management and defect tracking.
- Solid understanding of Agile SDLC, QA methodologies, and test strategy.
- Keen eye for visual and UI details (pixel alignment, margins, styling).
- Capable of creating and executing manual tests for mobile apps when needed.
- Strong communicator with a collaborative, approachable, and professional attitude.
- Self-starter mentality with a passion for problem-solving and delivering high-quality work.
- Experience working in Agile or Kanban environments, with external clients and vendors.
- Willingness to occasionally travel for company/team events (valid passport required).

Schenectady, New York100% Remote for the right candidate
Other Information:
The work hours will be approximately 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST, depending on workload, with the occasional late night when a tight deadline calls for it. We work for security-conscious clients, thus background checks will be required. Salary dependent upon experience.
