  • Lead whiteboarding sessions, technical workshops, and customer discovery meetings to define use cases, success criteria, and architectural recommendations.
  • Collaborate with account managers, delivery teams, and OEM partners to develop comprehensive proposals, BOMs, and SOWs.
  • Translate business needs into scalable, secure network architectures leveraging routing, switching, VPNs, and firewall technologies.
  • Develop high-quality documentation, including HLDs, solution briefs, and client-ready presentations.
  • Stay current on emerging technologies (SD-WAN, EVPN-VXLAN, automation) and communicate their value in customer environments.
  • Participate in RFP responses, competitive analyses, and technical validation of proposed architectures.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to enterprise clients, building long-term technical relationships.
  • Complete ongoing security awareness training and comply with company policies to the requirements section
  • Identify and escalate security risks to the appropriate Executive Leadership Team member and actively contribute to remediation efforts
  • Other duties as assigned

Desired Skills and experience:

  • 7+ years of experience in enterprise networking roles, including at least 2 years in a customer-facing pre-sales or solution architect capacity.
  • Deep technical expertise in Cisco and Juniper network infrastructure (routing, switching, firewalls).
  • Strong understanding of Layer 2/3 protocols (BGP, OSPF, STP, VLANs, VRFs), QoS, NAT, ACLs.
  • Ability to lead technical discussions with engineers and executives alike.
  • Experience designing or consulting on data center, WAN, or secure remote access solutions.
  • Skilled at creating architecture diagrams, proposal documentation, and technical presentations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications: CCNP/CCIE (Enterprise/Data Center), JNCIP/JNCIE strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with SD-WAN, EVPN-VXLAN, MPLS, or cloud networking (AWS/Azure).
  • Experience with network automation (e.g., Ansible, Python) is a plus.
  • Exposure to NAC, 802.1X, RADIUS, and hybrid networking environments.
