We are seeking a Senior Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will perform a variety of civil and water resource planning and design tasks. Our team specializes in developing innovative and cost-effective solutions for our clients’ most challenging water resources, drinking water, wastewater, and recycled water projects.

What You'll Do:
- Perform engineering design for water supply infrastructure projects, including pipelines, pump stations, storage tanks, well sites, and related facilities.
- Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) modeling using tools such as HEC‑RAS, HEC‑HMS, HEC‑FDA, InfoWater, and other industry-standard software.
- Prepare technical calculations, design drawings, specifications, and reports to support project deliverables.
- Lead the planning and design of potable water treatment facilities, distribution infrastructure, and system master plans.
- Lead multidisciplinary project teams and coordinate subconsultants throughout all project phases, from planning and design through commissioning.
- Manage conveyance systems and oversee wastewater collection system design, including pipelines, lift stations, and associated infrastructure, and contribute to long-range system master planning efforts.
- Provide technical leadership, quality review, and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineering staff.
- Develop engineering analyses, design calculations, technical reports, drawings, and specifications to support project deliverables.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams to ensure design quality, regulatory compliance, and effective project execution.
- Engage directly with clients to define project needs, present technical solutions, and support long-term relationship development.
- Contribute to project management activities, including scope development, scheduling, budgeting, and oversight of project deliverables.
- Actively participate in relevant professional organizations
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental Engineering, or a closely related engineering field with a focus in water resources, environmental, or hydraulic engineering
- PE Registration in California, or ability to obtain CA registration within 1 yr
- 10+ years of experience in water/wastewater, stormwater planning, design, and construction administration as a lead design engineer or project manager
- Strong team leadership experience or proven potential, including managing project delivery expectations, prioritization of tasks, and mentoring
- Experience with GIS, AutoCAD, and Civil3D
- Experience with levee design efforts, including evaluation, analysis, and preparation of engineering design documents is preferred
- Stormwater system design projects, including drainage infrastructure, and comprehensive stormwater master planning are preferred
Salary Range:
$140,000-$200,000
