Job Description

Venteon is currently seeking a Senior Plant Analyst with a leading global manufacturing company with facilities located in Halstead, Kansas.

Requirements for the Senior Plant Analyst

  • Bachelor s degree in finance, economics, accounting or related field

  • 5+ years of financial analysis and accounting experience in a manufacturing space

  • Working knowledge and understanding of SAP

  • Fundamental understanding of US GAAP

  • Strong Excel skills

Responsibilities of the Senior Plant Analyst

  • Provide financial analysis, reporting and recommendations to support operational decisions

  • Develop and drive actions and financial plans to achieve targets

  • Analyst manufacturing performance and provide cost variances to enhance plant profitability

  • Lead month-end and year-end closing activities

  • Manage and own the P&L, balance sheet and cash flow to support all schedules

  • Prepare and maintain KPI s

  • Monitor Internal Controls

  • Perform fixed asset accounting, capitalization reviews, depreciation analysis and fixed asset inventory valuation

  • Support the annual budget, forecast and long-range planning process for the plant
