VSCO is hiring a Senior Product & Commercial Counsel to play a central role in shaping its product, marketing, and commercial strategy. Reporting to the General Counsel, this role partners closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Brand teams to embed legal guidance into the development and launch of new features and initiatives.

In this role, you will lead complex commercial transactions across SaaS, partnerships, marketing, and vendor relationships, while building scalable contracting processes and systems that support the company’s growth. You will advise on privacy, intellectual property, and platform regulations, ensuring compliance across U.S. and international frameworks, including content licensing and promotional activities.

You will also serve as a trusted advisor on content policy and IP matters, helping translate evolving legal and regulatory developments into clear, actionable guidance for the business. A key part of the role includes modernizing legal operations, developing practical training and resources, and leveraging technology—including AI—to improve efficiency and scale impact.

The ideal candidate brings strong commercial and product counseling experience, sound judgment, and the ability to translate complex legal concepts into practical, business-oriented advice. You are comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment, balancing risk with a creator-first mindset, and partnering cross-functionally to enable innovation.
