Job Description

NVIDIA data centers are powering the most sophisticated, groundbreaking research and AI products for the company. We are looking for a Senior Product Manager with exposure to accelerated computing, storage and system design. This role operates at the hardware–software boundary of the most advanced computer systems in the world. As demand for compute grows while power and space plateau, the future of data centers depends on innovation across all layers of silicon and platform design. To elevate the quality, security, economics, and capabilities of accelerated computing platforms, we rely on close partnerships with internal teams, customers, and partners across the design cycle. This role reports to the Product Management team for NVIDIA DGX Platforms!

What you will do doing:

  • Collaborate with key data storage and manufacturing partners in co-developing and bringing to market new solutions based on recently announced STX systems.

  • Leverage strong technical background to define product requirements by understanding AI storage use cases, AI factory requirements, and cross-team input within NVIDIA.

  • Develop and own a comprehensive roadmap for STX systems.

  • Work with engineering to improve the state of art in Reliability, Availability and Serviceability of STX systems.

  • Tell Our Story, from Marketing to R&D: Work with technical marketing and develop internal reporting content that effectively communicates performance outcomes. Ensure content is clear, accurate, and tailored to the audience, whether it be internal partners or potential clients.

What we need to see:

  • BS or MS in engineering, computer science, or another technical field (or equivalent experience). MBA is a plus.

  • 12+ years of total experience in technology industry with product management or engineering experience in data storage technologies, system designs, unstructured and structured data solutions and knowledge of the industry landscape.

  • Deep understanding of system designs and familiarity with accelerated compute, network and storage technologies.

  • Working knowledge on open source and proprietary Generative AI technologies, frameworks and stacks.

  • Ability to Grapple with the Unknown: role definitions and product needs are very fluid, and paths to success will lack clear definition at times— especially in flat cultures like NVIDIA. For the right person, this is an opportunity to experience incredible breadth, and to “choose your own adventure.”

  • Analytical Thinking: able to build objective measurements of schedules, economic trade-offs, and competitive insights.

  • Collaboration: we are all here to work on incredible tech that sparks joy, and to take pride in getting stuff done. There is more than enough impact and scope for everyone to be successful doing it — hero PMs help the product, their partners and their colleagues succeed together.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Experience in developing new system products and bringing them to market.

  • Recent experience in key data center technologies such as GPU acceleration of unstructured and structured data solutions, NVIDIA’s network products and AI Factory designs.

  • Developing and running benchmarks for AI use cases.
