Your role will be to own the end-to-end delivery of our Legal Platform, the product that enables attorneys in Rocket Lawyer's network to deliver legal services through our on-demand marketplace.

Today, much of the legal work between attorneys and customers happens off platform - phone calls, emails, and file sharing. Your job will be to bring that experience on-platform through streamlined web conferencing, privileged workspaces, and secure collaboration tools for documents and messaging.

Creating a delightful experience for both attorneys and customers is essential. Attorneys already love Rocket Lawyer because it enables them to practice their craft on their own terms - without business development, invoicing, nor collections. Now we're equipping them with cutting edge legal technology and AI powered tools that enable them to do their job more efficiently than ever.

How you will make a difference day to day

Product Strategy and Vision 

  • Drive Product strategy and execution for our Legal Platform.
  • Develop a deep understand of the needs of our network attorneys through quantitative and qualitative research.
  • Passionately represent the voice of the customer (attorneys) while building products aligned with our product vision.
  • Lead the ideation, development, and launch of products for our customers.

Data Driven Product Development:

  • Define and analyze metrics to measure business impacts
  • Prioritize features using data-driven analysis, business insights, and sound judgment.
  • Develop and deliver a roadmap for our Legal Platform product capabilities.
  • Understand and report on the direct revenue implications of product decisions.

Design and Engineering Team Collaboration

  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team of Design, User Experience, Engineering, QA, and Content to bring product experiments to market.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the marketplace and competitive environment.

What you’ll need

  • 8-10 years of software Product Development experience, ideally with B2B or B2C SaaS products.
  • At least 4 years in SaaS (Productivity, Project Management, Collaboration, Workflow) specific product management.
  • Ability to combine strong product sense with business acumen to deliver positive outcomes for both customers and the business.

CompensationBase salary range by location:
  • San Francisco Bay Area, CA: $172,800 - 203,300
  • California (outside of San Francisco Bay Area): $159,860 - 188,071
  • Colorado: $146,900 - 172,800
  • Utah, Arizona, and North Carolina: $138,200 - 162,600

Actual compensation packages are determined by various factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, specific work location, and performance during the interview process. In addition to base salary, this role may include variable compensation and be eligible for an equity grant, depending on the position and level.

Base salary range:

$138,000 - $203,000USD
