Senior Product Marketing Manager, AI Solutions – Government

Description -

As Senior Product Marketing Manager, AI Solutions – Government, you will lead the positioning, go-to-market strategy, and sales enablement for HP’s AI training and inference solutions serving federal, defense, intelligence, and public sector customers. This role owns how HP brings secure, compliant, and mission-ready AI solutions to market for the most regulated and high‑stakes environments.

You will operate as the government vertical authority for AI solutions—shaping solution narratives, influencing product and GTM decisions, and enabling sales and partners to win where security, data sovereignty, compliance, and operational trust are paramount.

This is a senior, high‑impact role requiring deep government domain expertise, strong technical fluency, and the ability to lead cross‑functional teams to deliver solutions aligned to government missions, acquisition models, and regulatory constraints.

Key Responsibilities

Government AI Solutions Positioning & Messaging

  • Own end‑to‑end positioning and messaging for HP’s AI training and inference solutions tailored to government and regulated environments.
  • Define government‑specific value propositions that translate AI infrastructure capabilities (GPUs, on‑prem and edge compute, secure AI workflows) into mission outcomes.
  • Develop vertical‑specific narratives addressing classified and restricted environments, air‑gapped deployments, compliance boundaries, and operational resilience.

Go‑to‑Market Strategy & Leadership

  • Lead GTM strategy for government AI solutions from concept through general availability, including launches, expansions, and portfolio evolution.
  • Define priority segments, buyer personas, and solution plays across federal, defense, intelligence, and SLED markets.
  • Influence product packaging, offers, and roadmap priorities by representing government customer needs in cross‑functional forums.

Sales, Partner & Ecosystem Enablement

  • Own sales enablement strategy for government AI solutions, delivering high‑impact assets such as solution playbooks, reference architectures, competitive battlecards, and executive‑level talk tracks.
  • Enable federal and public sector sales teams to confidently position HP AI solutions in competitive, compliance‑driven environments.
  • Partner with system integrators, ISVs, and channel partners to ensure consistent, government‑ready solution messaging and co‑sell alignment.

Customer, Market & Competitive Intelligence

  • Lead voice‑of‑customer programs with government agencies and regulated customers to inform messaging, GTM, and solution strategy.
  • Monitor competitive offerings, policy shifts, and emerging government AI priorities to maintain differentiated and credible positioning.
  • Synthesize insights into clear recommendations for product, marketing, and sales leadership.

Launch Readiness & Cross‑Functional Execution

  • Own launch readiness for government‑focused AI solutions, ensuring messaging alignment, enablement readiness, and compliance validation.
  • Act as the senior marketing interface with Product Management, Engineering, Legal, Security, and Sales for government launches.
  • Maintain a single source of truth for government GTM assets, performance metrics, and post‑launch learnings.

Qualifications

Required

  • 8+ years of experience in product marketing, solutions marketing, or GTM roles, with direct responsibility for government or regulated markets.
  • Proven track record positioning and launching complex B2B technology solutions into federal, defense, intelligence, or public sector environments.
  • Strong technical fluency across AI infrastructure, compute platforms, GPUs, and hybrid on‑prem / edge solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate technical differentiation into credible, compliance‑aware value propositions.
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills for technical, sales, and executive audiences.

Preferred

  • Experience marketing AI training, inference, or AI infrastructure solutions in secure or regulated environments.
  • Familiarity with government acquisition models, contracting vehicles, and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience working with channel partners and system integrators supporting public sector customers.
  • Background collaborating closely with legal, security, and compliance teams during product launches.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
