To usher in this new era, we seek AI-native thinkers across every function who are energized by the opportunity to reinvent how they work. You don't just use tools; you possess an innate curiosity, treating AI as a high-trust collaborator that is core to how you solve problems and accelerate your impact. We look for low-ego individuals who thrive in dynamic and fast-moving environments and move with an experimental mindset - who rapidly test emerging capabilities to discover simpler, more powerful ways to deliver results. At Snowflake, your role isn't just to execute a function, but to help redefine the future of how work gets done.

The Senior Product Marketing Manager for Public Sector will play a critical role in leading product messaging, go-to-market strategies and initiatives across Federal, State and Local Government sectors. Responsibilities:

  • Market Strategy: Develop, create and implement go-to-market strategies for Snowflake Public Sector with an emphasis on strategic growth areas (DoW and Federal Government/Intelligence sectors)

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within the Department of War and Federal Government to understand their needs and position our solutions effectively.

  • Market Analysis: Conduct ongoing competitive analysis and account research to identify opportunities and challenges in the public sector landscape with an emphasis on Department of War and Federal Government sectors

  • Marketing Collaboration: Strengthen the connection between marketing and sales for events, maximizing engagement and lead conversion at industry-specific conferences and forums.

  • GTM Campaigns and Sales Plays: Develop GTM campaigns that align with strategic events and milestones, focusing on maximizing Snowflake's impact and positioning within the US Public Sector.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure that strategies are effectively executed and communicated.

  • Performance Metrics: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of go-to-market strategies and messaging.

  • Build Relationships in Industry Associations: Work closely with key public sector industry associations (AFCEA, AUSA, GSOF, Navy League, and more) to establish a programmatic technology provider relationship for the Federal Government

  • Analyst Relations: Establish Snowflake and its combined solution with ClearQuery as a market leader in key mission areas relevant to Public Sector decision makers

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • 6+ years of experience in public sector product marketing or related experience; deep knowledge of DoW, federal/intelligence sectors, and SLED.

  • Proven ability to lead and create strategic marketing plans, including go-to-market strategies, positioning, and messaging tailored to complex, highly regulated industries

  • Exceptional written communication skills and ability to synthesize complex information into clear and concise presentations and plans that resonates with executive-level audiences and technical audiences

  • Strong leadership capabilities with experience in guiding cross-functional teams, influencing stakeholders, and driving projects to successful completion in a collaborative manner

  • Ability to think big and re-imagine how Snowflake can deliver value to customers in collaboration with our partner ecosystem

  • Passion for understanding customer needs and the ability to translate those needs into impactful marketing programs and initiatives
