About the Role

The Senior Product Marketing Manager for TimeClock Plus will serve as the strategic marketing lead for TCP’s flagship time and attendance solution. You will develop a deep understanding of our customers, buyers, market, and competitive landscape and translate those insights into clear positioning, differentiated messaging, effective go-to-market strategies, and compelling sales enablement.

This is a highly cross-functional role that sits at the intersection of Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing. You will influence product strategy, lead major launches, strengthen our market position, and help our commercial teams communicate the business value of TimeClock Plus. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on—comfortable shaping the narrative, creating the tools, and driving the execution required to accelerate pipeline, win competitive opportunities, and increase customer adoption.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Senior Product Marketing Manager for our TimeClock Plus product, you'll be responsible for:

  • Market Intelligence – Become an expert on our buyers, who they are, and how they buy our software. You’ll build an understanding of the buyer journey and its relationship to our sales process to help the company make intelligent, market/buyer-centric decisions.
  • Product Messaging – Work together with product management to construct messages that clearly articulate the value our TimeClock Plus provides, the challenges it solves, and why customers should deploy our solution now.
  • Content Creation – Work collaboratively with our content team to develop content for sales and partner enablement, partner engagements, and external marketing/demand generation campaigns and communications.  \GTM Strategy – Assist in executing our GTM strategy, including identification of target market/customer, buyer persona interviews, core use cases, and the customer journey.
  • Sales and Partner Enablement - Establish competitive battlecards and work closely with Sales and Partner Enablement to conduct trainings that ensure internal and extended sales forces are fully educated on product features and new releases. Help conduct win/loss analysis on a quarterly basis.
  • Product Packaging – Work across multiple departments, including marketing, finance, operations, product management, and sales to define product structure, including naming, packaging, licensing, and pricing to simplify the sales/acquisition process and encourage customer adoption.
  • Product Launch & Excitement - Own and coordinate product launches to maximize awareness. Drive product excitement into key segments to maximize adoption and usage.
  • Campaign Planning & Execution – Work with senior marketing leaders to craft program plans and define inbound and outbound marketing channels. Work with Demand Gen to define and build email nurture/drip programs and relevant target segments across owned and paid media.
  • Measurement and Analytics – Work with marketing operations, product marketing, and marketing leadership to define campaign targets and build reports and dashboards to report on program performance and ROI.
  • Competitive Intelligence - Study and monitor the key players in our industry (i.e., potential alternatives to our product), help define how we are different, and why our differentiators are important to our target audience.
  • Spokesperson – Serve as a primary company spokesperson and advocate for TimeClock Plus while engaging with analysts, press, customers, and investors.

How You’ll be Measured

Success in this role will be measured by your ability to:

  • Strengthen market positioning – Establish clear, differentiated positioning and messaging across priority markets, industries, and buyer personas.
  • Deliver effective launches – Lead coordinated launches that drive awareness, sales readiness, pipeline, and customer adoption.
  • Improve commercial performance – Equip Sales and partners with the training, competitive intelligence, and content needed to improve buyer engagement and win rates.
  • Generate actionable insight – Build a strong understanding of buyer needs, market trends, the customer journey, and competitive dynamics.
  • Influence strategy – Translate market insights into recommendations for product priorities, packaging, pricing, segmentation, and go-to-market.
  • Drive measurable impact – Demonstrate contribution to pipeline, revenue, adoption, and retention.
  • Build cross-functional alignment – Create clarity, accountability, and momentum across Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing.
