Job Description
Job Title: Senior Product Owner / Product ManagerLocation: Downtown Los Angeles, CA 90017Duration: 11 MonthsSchedule: 8 hours/day, Monday–Friday (availability during weekends and holidays for emergencies and special projects may be required)
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and drive long-term product and portfolio strategy aligned with organizational goals.
- Establish and govern product roadmaps, prioritization frameworks, and investment decisions.
- Lead large-scale technology initiatives across multiple teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Drive enterprise-level KPI development and outcome-based delivery.
- Build strong customer understanding and translate business needs into strategic product direction.
- Oversee vendor management, procurement strategy, contract negotiations, and risk mitigation.
- Champion Agile product management best practices and organizational product maturity.
- Facilitate executive-level discussions, decision-making, and cross-functional alignment.
- Lead change management, adoption strategies, and communication efforts for enterprise initiatives.
- Mentor product managers and help establish product governance standards across the organization.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, Business Systems Analysis, or related roles.
- Strong experience with Agile methodologies, product lifecycle management, roadmap development, and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams, managing product backlogs, and driving strategic initiatives.
- Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and leadership skills.
Preferred Certifications:
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
- Agile Certified Product Manager/Product Owner (AIPMM)
- Scaled Agile POPM
- Design Thinking Certification
