About the Role:
Legion Technical Solutions LLC is looking for a driven and experienced Senior Program Manager / Acquisition Specialist to join our team in Chantilly. VA This is an exciting opportunity to lead complex programs and support critical acquisition efforts within a dynamic, mission-focused environment. Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage full lifecycle program management activities across multiple concurrent projects
- Develop and execute acquisition strategies, plans, and documentation in support of government or defense contracts
- Coordinate with stakeholders, contracting officers, and program offices to ensure alignment on requirements and deliverables
- Monitor program schedules, budgets, and performance metrics to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
- Draft, review, and manage acquisition-related documents including SOWs, PWS, RFPs, and acquisition plans
- Provide expert guidance on procurement regulations, FAR/DFARS compliance, and acquisition best practices
- Identify and mitigate program risks while communicating status updates to senior leadership
- Apply organization-specific acquisition policies and procedures, including National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) acquisition considerations, as applicable.
- Advise program leadership on the selection and use of appropriate contract vehicles, including:
- Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts
- Other Transaction Authorities (OTAs)
- Time-and-Materials (T&M) contracts
- Cost-Reimbursement contracts
- Basic Ordering Agreements (BOAs)
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience in program management and/or government acquisition
- Strong knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and federal acquisition regulations
- Experience supporting DoD or federal government programs strongly preferred
- PMP certification or DAU Acquisition certifications a plus
- Active TS/SCI CI Poly
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
