  • Financial & Resource Management: Own the software program financials, including budget planning and resource allocation for a broad engineering organization.

  • Governance & Risks: Establish comprehensive software program management plans covering release planning, earned value tracking, performance monitoring, and risk/change management.

  • Strategic Coordination: Partner with software leads to develop a product roadmap, coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams including Systems Engineering, Quality, Test, and Regulatory agencies.

  • Supplier & Regulatory Management: Manage software-specific supplier relationships and lead technical negotiations for high-value contracts.

Requirements

  • University degree in Engineering (Electrical or Computer Engineering preferred) or related field; Master’s degree in Engineering or related field is highly desired.

  • Minimum of 8 years of program management experience in Aerospace, specifically within safety-critical flight software.

  • Mastery of Agile/Scrum methodologies and JIRA task management to drive rapid software development cycles.

  • Deep understanding of complex, highly coupled aircraft systems, avionics, and safety-critical software standards (e.g., DO-178C and DO-160G).

  • Proven ability to lead development teams and manage teams of project managers through rapid growth or organizational transitions.

  • Prior experience working with the FAA or EASA to obtain certification for novel aircraft systems or software platforms.

  • Strong analytical skills to interpret complex technical data and drive data-driven decisions for "code to flight" initiatives.

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally to support customer and project meetings.

Preferred
