Senior Project Manager
Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid, 3x/wk in office)Salary: $120k-$150k

We are seeking an exceptionally talented and motivated Senior Project Manager to join our Technology team. This role is a critical driver of complex, cross-functional initiatives across the organization, including the enterprise upgrade of Lawson (ERP system) and other high-impact business, technology, and operational programs.
As a Senior Project Manager, you will own projects end-to-end—from initiation through post-launch stabilization—partnering closely with Finance, IT, Engineering, Analytics, Data, and external vendors. You are a confident, hands-on leader who can translate business needs into executable technical plans, proactively manage risk, and keep diverse stakeholders aligned around clear goals and timelines.

Key Responsibilities
Project & Program Leadership
- Lead complex, cross-functional projects spanning enterprise systems, process improvement, and organizational initiatives.
- Serve as Project Manager for the Lawson (Infor) upgrade, overseeing planning, execution, testing, cutover, and post–go-live stabilization.
- Define project objectives, scope, milestones, success metrics, and delivery approach tailored to each initiative.
- Develop and maintain integrated project plans, timelines, budgets, resource plans, and risk registers.
- Apply appropriate delivery methodologies (waterfall, agile, or hybrid) based on project needs.
Stakeholder & Change Leadership
- Partner with business leaders, functional teams, IT, and external vendors to ensure alignment on priorities and outcomes.
- Facilitate executive updates, steering committees, and cross-functional working sessions.
- Translate business needs into structured plans, clear deliverables, and actionable timelines.
- Anticipate and manage change impacts, supporting adoption through effective communication and coordination with training and change teams.
Requirements, Delivery & Execution
- Lead requirements definition, solution design coordination, and dependency management across teams.
- Oversee testing strategies, readiness assessments, and go-live planning for system and non-system initiatives.
- Manage vendors and external partners, ensuring accountability to scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
- Track progress against milestones, proactively manage risks and issues, and drive timely resolution.
Governance & Continuous Improvement
- Establish and maintain project governance standards, reporting cadence, and escalation processes.
- Ensure projects comply with internal controls, audit requirements, and organizational policies.
- Capture lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement of project management practices.
- Mentor project team members and promote consistent use of project management disciplines across teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience managing complex, cross-functional technology projects.
- Proven experience leading gap analysis sessions and defining future-state process improvements.
- Experience managing the vendor selection lifecycle, including RFP development and evaluation.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across Finance, IT, and external partners.
- Demonstrated expertise in developing project plans, managing resources, budgets, and mitigating risk.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Asana, MS Project, or Smartsheet.
- PMP or similar project management certification.
- Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience managing financial systems implementations or upgrades.
- Strong understanding of financial processes including General Ledger, Contracting, and Expense Reporting.
- Experience with Lawson, Infor FSM, or similar ERP platforms.
- Background leading projects within Finance, Supply Chain, HR, or shared services environments.
- Experience working with system integrators, consultants, and third-party vendors.
- Exposure to ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or Workday.
- Knowledge of financial compliance standards and internal controls.
Total Rewards
Total Rewards The base salary range for this role is $120,000– $150,000 annually for employees based in Boston, MA. Final compensation may vary and will be determined based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, internal equity, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for an annual incentive bonus and first-class benefits, which include:
