Senior Project Manager

This is an in-office position in Glenview, IL.  This is a great opportunity to advance your career while working for a unique family-friendly landscape construction company that works on some of the most exciting green roof, green wall, amenity deck, and landscape projects in the country. 

This position is well suited for an individual that is comfortable with the Chicago commercial construction landscape market with experience and expertise on Design, Estimating, Project Management and Creative Troubleshooting.

 Compensation

• Salary Range: $150K - 185K total compensation

Job Responsibilities

• Preconstruction

  • Develop relationships with clients, primary focus on general contractors and roofing contractors

  • Document review, takeoffs, material supplier and subcontractor quotes, build estimates and proposals

  • Track progress against sales goals, maintain sales strategy to achieve sales goals.

• Active Construction

  • Prepare submittals, samples, materials purchasing, subcontractor management for all awarded projects.

  • Work proactively with Intrinsic’s Superintendent and Operations team on all aspects of project execution

  • Project change orders as needed

  • Prepare pay applications and follow through with client PM teams

  • Track ongoing progress vs. estimated profitability, maintain strategy to achieve intended margins

• Post-construction

  • Project closeouts

  • Transition project to Intrinsic’s Maintenance department wherever possible

  • Critical review of final job costing

Education & Experience

•  5+ years of relevant project management and sales experience

• 4 year college degree in Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, Construction Management or similar

Skills & Qualifications

• Required Skills

  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

  • Construction Project Management Platforms: Procore, Autodesk, LMN 

  • Construction Takeoff Platforms: Planswift, Procore

• Preferred

  • Vectorworks or AutoCAD
