Senior Project ManagerOpportunity to join a design/build firm that has been in business over 30 years. Excellent compensation, benefits, work-life balance.About Our ClientOur client is a well-established design/build general contractor specializing in pharmaceutical and commercial construction projects. They are known for executing technically complex work, maintaining long-term client relationships, and delivering high-quality projects in regulated environments.Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities for the Senior Project Manager:Manage multiple design/build projects simultaneously, overseeing schedules, budgets, quality, and safety
Lead projects from preconstruction and engineering coordination through ground-up construction and turnover
Provide strong leadership to project teams, including project managers, superintendents, engineers, and subcontractors
Coordinate closely with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) trades to ensure constructability and compliance
Drive project planning, procurement, subcontractor buyout, and change management
Interface directly with owners, design partners, and internal leadership to ensure client satisfaction
Ensure projects meet all regulatory, quality, and safety requirements, particularly in pharmaceutical environments

MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled, protected veterans and all other qualified applicants.The Successful ApplicantThe Successful Candidate:Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline required)15+ years of construction project management experience with a general contractor
Heavy mechanical and electrical background with proven experience on complex MEP-driven projects
Experience working for a design/build general contractor is strongly preferred
Ground-up construction experience required
Demonstrated ability to manage more than one project at a time
Stable career history with 3+ years at each previous employer (no job hoppers)Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Experience in pharmaceutical or highly regulated commercial environments preferred
