Job Description

We're looking for a Senior Project Manager who thrives in complexity and knows how to lead high impact, mission critical initiatives within the Public Sector. This is an opportunity to step into a visible, high trust role where you will guide large scale client programs, influence executive stakeholders, and bring clarity to environments that require strong leadership.

You will own multiple complex implementations, partnering directly with client leaders to drive alignment, navigate challenges, and ensure projects stay on track both operationally and financially. Your ability to anticipate risks, manage change, and re center teams when things get off course will be critical to success. This role is not just about delivery, it is about building trusted relationships, shaping outcomes, and creating long term value for clients.

We are looking for someone who has led enterprise level software implementations, brings strong executive presence, and is comfortable operating in high stakes environments where decisions matter. Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee large-scale, complex public sector projects; manage complex changes to program scope, schedule, and costs while maintaining alignment with organizational goals

  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with clients and key stakeholders while managing program governance across multiple interconnected projects

  • Direct financial performance of project portfolio by forecasting requirements, analyzing variances, and implementing strategic corrective actions

  • Establish project governance frameworks and risk management strategies for high-visibility initiatives impacting multiple business units

  • Develop and execute comprehensive stakeholder communication plans, including executive reporting and strategic issue resolution

  • Identify and pursue strategic business opportunities by leveraging project outcomes and stakeholder relationships

  • Champion adoption of AI and automation solutions to transform business operations and achieve strategic objectives

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience

  • At least 7 years of project management experience

  • PMP (or similar project management) certification

  • At least 2 years of people leadership experience

  • Ability to make good and timely decisions that help shape the organization's best practices

  • Ability to influence and guide decision-making for multiple stakeholders

Expectations

Up to 30% travel

Ability to work onsite at our HQ in Overland Park
