The Senior Project Manager will lead the successful project performance of Education construction projects from inception to completion. They will collaborate closely with clients, owner's representatives, architects, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and adhere to Sellen's Project Delivery Plan and quality standards.
Senior Project Managers demonstrate Sellen's brand and values by leading people to collaborate and drive projects successfully to completion. This Senior Project Manager will provide leadership and accountability for successful education project delivery in all phases of construction, often on complex or multiple projects. The Senior Project Manager develops key relationships with project stakeholders and uses excellent project management skills to bring the project to satisfactory completion. Senior PMs are seen as mentors and teachers for their project teams.
Design-Build / Progressive Design-Build and public K-12 experience is required.
The position is located in South Lake Union full-time.
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of work experience and education.
AND
- 10+ years' experience in construction management with progressive responsibilities and experience across a broad scope of work and project types.
KNOWLEDGE
- Knowledge of emerging methods in commercial construction.
- Knowledge of Education project requirements and risk management strategies unique to those project types.
- Expertise in contract and documentation practices used in commercial construction.
- Working knowledge of financial reports and financial analysis.
SKILLS
- Strong negotiation skills.

The full pay range for this position is $165,000 to $200,000. New hires typically start between $165,000 and $180,000, depending on direct professional experience and qualifications. Sellen's bonus plan is funded based on company performance and awarded based on individual performance. The bonus target for this role is 10% of salary. This role also includes an auto allowance of $1,000 per month, subject to eligibility.
