Senior Project Manager

Commercial Construction | Edmonton, Alberta

Our client, a well-established commercial construction firm, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their Edmonton team. This is a leadership role for a seasoned professional ready to hit the ground running on complex commercial projects and mentor the next generation of project staff.

The Role

As Senior Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of larger and more complex commercial projects, providing strategic oversight across budgets, schedules, and teams. You will bring depth of experience that allows you to anticipate challenges, guide junior staff, and represent the firm confidently with clients and consultants.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the delivery of complex commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
Provide strategic oversight of budgets, schedules, resourcing, and profitability.
Mentor and support project managers, coordinators, and site teams.
Manage high-level client, consultant, and stakeholder relationships.
Oversee contract negotiation, procurement strategy, and risk management.
Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes and standards.
Ensure quality, safety, and schedule commitments are consistently met.
What You Bring
Extensive commercial construction experience is required, with the ability to hit the ground running.
Demonstrated success leading large or complex commercial projects.
Strong command of construction contracts, financial management, and scheduling.
Proven leadership and mentorship capabilities.
Post-secondary education in construction management, engineering, or a related field is an asset.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
