Responsibilities:
- Builds and maintains productive client relationships, including serving as a day-to-day contact
- Builds and maintains strong relationships within the agency, including with the creative, social, media, and client leadership teams
- Identifies key media contacts and influencers relevant to accounts and client needs
- Manages media and influencer relationships, accounts, and project activities
- Executes influencer outreach and negotiations and builds earned media relationships
- Communicates and delivers earned media and influencer campaigns built with strategic objectives and amplification for brand channels
- Supports onsite execution of activations with influencers and media, including client, vendor, and partner relationships
- Utilizes media and influencer monitoring and research tools; identifies appropriate measures to evaluate the success of a major project, campaign or event
- Demonstrates a thorough understanding of, and follows, best practices and trends for PR and influencer industries
- Responds professionally to client and colleague communications
- Prepares for client or internal meetings by creating and/or informing agendas, preparing meeting space, and capturing next steps/notes
- Provides insight on trends and changes in the media and influencer landscapes for clients
- Counsels clients and agency partners on newsworthiness of topics, issues, and ideas
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience required
- Minimum of 3 or more years of related experience and/or training
- Excellent communication and persuasion skills, both written and oral
- Ability to work autonomously, lead projects, and work on a team collaboratively
- Impeccable attention to detail and stellar organizational skills
- Creative problem solver with strong critical thinking skills to manage the unknown and plan ahead
- Media relations experience, including pitching national, regional, local, and trade news media and securing interviews and coverage for clients
- Influencer relations experience, including influencer identification, outreach, relationship management, and content creation
